Meet Our Team

Dexter was born and raised in the inner city of Jacksonville, Florida. At the age of seven, he was adopted due to his mother’s addiction to crack cocaine and his father’s struggles with incarceration and substance abuse. Determined not to let his circumstances define his future, Dexter remained focused on his goals.

Before he graduated high school, his mother successfully completed rehabilitation. After graduation, he joined the United States Navy, where he dedicated 24 years to faithful service.

In 2019, Dexter experienced the devastating loss of his mother, who relapsed and passed away from a drug overdose. Today, his father is serving a 20-year sentence for a robbery driven by addiction.

Beyond his military career, Dexter has built an extensive portfolio in real estate investment. In 2024, his company transformed two residential properties into recovery residences. These homes now provide a safe, therapeutic environment for individuals recovering from substance use and mental health disorders, including three single mothers. Through his work, Dexter is committed to supporting individuals on their journey to rehabilitation and reintegration, empowering them to become productive members of society.
