Support Reentry & Recovery Alliance

Together, We Are Rebuilding Lives and Restoring Futures

Communities thrive when everyone has the opportunity for a second chance. In regions like ours, where reentry and recovery services are limited or nonexistent, the need for stable housing, workforce training, and comprehensive support for individuals returning from incarceration and those overcoming substance use challenges is urgent. This is where Reentry & Recovery Alliance (RRA) steps in filling a critical gap and creating pathways to lasting change.

Why Your Support Matters

Far too often, individuals reentering society face overwhelming barriers: lack of housing, limited job opportunities, untreated trauma, and stigma that follows them long after their sentence ends. Without strong support systems, the cycle of incarceration and addiction continues. RRA exists to break that cycle through both reentry and recovery services.

At RRA, we believe in creating sustainable, long-term solutions for people who are ready to rebuild their lives. We provide permanent housing, peer-led recovery services, employment readiness, and community reintegration programs designed not only to stabilize individuals but to empower them.

What Makes RRA Different?

RRA is a program for us, by us, uniquely designed to meet the specific needs of those navigating both reentry and recovery. Our leadership is deeply connected to the mission through lived experience:

  • Keira Moore Majeed, Co-Founder and President, is not only a dedicated recovery advocate and certified peer recovery specialist but also formerly incarcerated, having given birth to her only child while incarcerated. Today, she is in long-term recovery and uses her personal experience to drive systemic change for others reentering society. Keira holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from King University and has extensive professional experience in reentry services, recovery program development, and community advocacy, which solidifies RRA's foundation as a credible and innovative leader in this space.

  • Samuel Harris, Co-Founder, brings years of reentry advocacy, mentorship, and leadership, having walked the reentry journey himself. His commitment to creating spaces for people impacted by incarceration ensures that RRA’s work remains grounded in the needs of the people we serve.

Together, they lead RRA with the understanding that those closest to the problem are closest to the solution. This is more than a program; it's a movement built by people who know firsthand what it takes to heal, rebuild, and thrive through reentry and recovery.
