Keira Moore Majeed is a passionate advocate, leader, and change maker in the fields of reentry, recovery, and community empowerment. As the Co-Founder and President of Reentry & Recovery Alliance, she is dedicated to creating pathways of opportunity for individuals transitioning from incarceration and those overcoming substance use challenges. With a deep understanding of the barriers faced by justice-involved individuals, Keira works tirelessly to ensure they receive the support, resources, and advocacy needed to rebuild their lives.

Keira is formerly incarcerated and gave birth to her only child while incarcerated. Her lived experience fuels her commitment to reentry and recovery, making her a powerful voice for justice-involved individuals. She is also in long-term recovery, demonstrating resilience and dedication to supporting others on their journey toward healing and transformation.

A Certified Peer Recovery Specialist, Reentry Specialist, and consultant, Keira has spent years championing criminal justice reform, reintegration programs, and mental health initiatives. Her expertise spans housing assistance, workforce development, legal advocacy, and peer-led support services, all aimed at reducing recidivism and fostering sustainable recovery.

Keira’s leadership extends beyond direct service work. She has served in multiple advisory and mentorship roles, working closely with community organizations, correctional facilities, and policymakers to implement effective reentry strategies. Her work is driven by the belief that every individual deserves a second chance and the opportunity to thrive.

In addition to her role at Reentry & Recovery Alliance, Keira is the owner of KM Enterprises LLC, a consulting firm specializing in reintegration and recovery initiatives. She continues to inspire and uplift communities through education, advocacy, and action.
